Guestbook

It is a very nice and relaxing property. The thick stone walls keep the freshness, making it a welcome retreat after a long day of sightseeing in the hot summer sun. The rooms are spacious and sophisticated and the amenities are top notch. Comfortable beds, large showers, period features such as pebbled mosaic floor and exposed beams, and a harmonious color palette make this the ideal vacation spot. The valley of the Dordogne with all its attractions on your doorstep is the icing on the cake. Quiet and quiet at night too. (...)

Clos Lamonzie is located in a quiet and rustic which is exactly what we were looking for a family cottage with children. Very spacious and very well furnished with taste. Nothing is missing to cook, we had at our disposal all that was needed in home appliances. The bedding is very comfortable. After visiting the area, we enjoyed enjoying the pool overlooking the surrounding countryside. We recommend this address.

Thousand vestiges to discover

The Dordogne valley
The Dordogne valley extends from Carlux to Siorac in Perigord. This valley, with unspoiled nature, has countless major heritage sites: the villages of Beynac (and its castle), the Roque Gageac, Domme, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, the sites of Castelnaud, the gardens of Marqueyssac and so many others.
The natural setting of the valley invites you to rest and practice multiple leisure activities : canoeing, swimming, walks, ...

The valley of the Vézère
The Vézère Valley is famous for its many prehistoric sites classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. There is the cave of Lascaux, but also sites such as Font de Gaume and Cap Blanc. The city of Les Eyzies can justifiably claim to be the prehistoric capital of the world thanks to the large number of sites it houses, such as its national museum and its interpretation center.
Less touristy than the Dordogne valley, the Vézère valley offers calm and tranquility. It is ideal for family outings, walks and sports activities (mountain biking). The Vézère Valley offers, like all of Périgord, an exceptional terroir and well-preserved heritage sites: Saint Léon sur Vézère (among the most beautiful villages in France), Montignac, the stronghold of Reignac, the Roque Saint-Chrisophe , the Castle of Losse.

Sarlat, city of art, history and gastronomy
The city of Sarlat is undoubtedly one of the most famous spots in Périgord. It is a beautifully preserved and restored medieval town. Sarlat is a very lively city with its market, its guided tours and its festivals. In winter, three must-see events are held, the Christmas market, the truffle festival in January and the goose festival in February.
To visit Sarlat will awaken all your senses, especially your sens of taste. The nose and the palate are constantly solicited. Here a farmer's market, there a truffle tour, again a tasting of foie gras or some local specialty. Not to mention the gourmet appointments that regularly offers the city!
In short, you will see that here everything is a story of taste. It must be said that nature has generously endowed the Perigord : truffles, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, walnuts, foie gras, strawberries, cabécou, wines, confits, enchauds.
